Great graphics in this unused late 1930s to 1940s postcard of Bernstein’s Fish Grotto, at 123 Powell St. in San Francisco, California! Touted as “the most unique restaurant front in America,” with the entryway ship faithfully following in size and detail “The Nina,” flagship of explorer Christopher Columbus. Interesting example of vernacular architecture, sadly now gone. A desirable regional collectible in near-mint condition!
