Item description:
From Tonga 1986 Sports Events set.  The left stamp is overprinted specimen and the right stamp is a progressive proof showing what the stamp looked like at a certain stage during the printing process. This proof shows the second last stage in the printing process where all colors are done except for black - the proof  is missing black still which was added last.

The stages in the printing process were:-

Progressive 1 shows yellow the first colour done
Progressive 2 shows blue the second colour done.
Progressive 1 + 2 shows yellow and blue done together
Progressive 3 shows third colour done red.
Progressive 1 + 2 + 3 shows red yellow and blue done together but still missing black.  This stage is the proof here attached to the specimen issued stamp.
