40. Gründungstag der Republik Österreich Dr. Karl Renner , Bundespräsident

The stamp shows the portrait of Federal President Dr. Karl Renner in a light-coloured frame encircled with simple borders. It was on November 12, 1918 when the Provisional National Assembly of German-speaking Austria followed a report submitted by Dr. Karl Renner and unanimously adopted the law which transformed Austria into a republic.
