Apud Antonium Vincentium, 1560 - En très bon état étant donné l'âge. Demi-cuir havane, plats et contre-plats marbrés. Dos lisse à faux nerfs dorés, titre doré. Quelques rousseurs et tâches (pages 3 à 12) sinon très propre.
Pietro Vettori était un auteur humaniste italien du XVIe siècle connu pour ses travaux sur la philosophie morale. L'une de ses meilleures œuvres était Explicationes suarum in Cicéronem Castigationum, ou Commentaires sur les lettres familières de Cicéron. Les Lettres familières de Cicéron sont considérées comme la source d’informations la plus fiable sur la période précédant la chute de la République romaine. Ils comprennent l’histoire de Rome, Jules César, Brutus et d’autres influences importantes.
