DESCRIPTION: Circa 1980s divided back printed colour continental size multi view post card, titled:
' Greetings from ROBINVALE On the Murray ' , North-western Vic., South-eastern Australia. Des-
criptive text printed on back reads: Robinvale on the Murray, developed as an ex-Serviceman's
settlement area from virgin mallee scrub land at the end of World War 2. Initially the area was
divided into 246 blocks to produce mainly grapes. The four views show: Bridge over Murray
River from Robinvale side. Tourist Information Centre at the end of Shopping Centre looking
down past the War Memorial and residential area. "Grapes" spread on racks for drying. Spill-
way and Lock 15 the only fish ladder on the Murray is on the Euston side of the Weir.
