1849 - 1900 HIGHLY COMPLETE USED COLLECTION Interesting old time lot with many issues complete including the high value stamps but in varied condition. We note 1849 Ceres 10c bistre, 15c green, 20c black (4), 25c (4), 40c and 1fr (good looking stamp with 4 clear margins but tiny thins), 1852 10c bistre Repub (3½ margins), 1870 vals to 80c, 1853 Empire imperfs good range of shades to 80c, 1862 Laureated shades to 80c, 1863 duplicated vals to 80c, 1869 5fr grey on toned paper (tiny closed tear) and very fine looking stamp on white paper with pressed crease, good range of 1870 imperf Bordeaux values to 80c, good range of perforated 1871 issues, 1876 Sage Type I complete with shades incl lovely 1c, 2c, and 4c, Type II complete including superb 10c green, also ranges of Postage Dues with 1884 vals to 5fr brown. Well worth looking at the scans for this lot as many of these classic high values are very collectable examples and the entire valuation is based on these few items.
