BAYERN-FRANKREICH, ZWEITES GEWICHT UNTER CHARGÉ NACH DEM POSTVERTRAG VOM 01.07.1858
23.3.1866, München-Strassburg-Paris, Vorderseite eines 30Kr Charge Briefes der zweiten Gewichtsstufe nach dem PV vom 1.7.1858. Von der Aufgabepost München richtig behandelt, zeigt der Brief die typischen Stempel "Baviere Straßburg" und den Stempel P.D. (paye a destination). 24Kr Brieffranko und 6Kr für Frankreichs Recogebühr, die in Marken zu frankieren war (12+ 12+6Kr=30Kr Franko). Die 6Kr-Chargégebühr der bayerischen Post wurde zusätzlich noch in München in bar erhoben. Die "2" zeigt das zweite Gewicht an, die Zahlen "234", "245" und "418" sind die Rekommandationsnummern. Weil der Münchener Chargestempel (Fünfzeiler) etwas schwach abgestempelt war, stempelte man in Strasbourg sicherheitshalber nochmal "Charge" nach. Briefe im zweiten Gewicht noch dazu mit Charge-Verwendung als 30Kr Briefe nach Frankreich sind nicht häufig. Gute Bedarfserhaltung.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
