1842 BOLUNDSHUHUR: Entire to London 'via Agra, Bombay, Suez, Falmouth' (endorsed in m/s) bearing rectangular framed "BOLUNDSHUHUR/Paid." h/s in red + date and charge "20 April/42 / 5as" in m/s on the reverse, with London arrival cds and charge mark alongside, "INDIA" in oval on front. A scarce cover with a despatch h/s unlisted by D. Hammond Giles, related to "The Defeat Of The Biluchis" in 1842.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
