1916 (3 Apr) cover to Berseba bearing 1d Union stamp tied by fine "OKAHANDJA / S.W. AFRICA" cds postmark, Putzel type 2, with very fine single line "PASSED BY CENSOR" in violet alongside. On the back is a fine example of the scarce violet "Military Magistrates Office / date / OKAHANDJA" boxed cachet, plus Windhoek and Keetmanshoop transits.
