1841-1870 LINE ENGRAVED - USED COLLECTION presented on large album pages, we see 1841 1d red imperfs in a range of shades, these catalogued as cheapest, but obvious different shades seen, incl. an example identified as lake-red, continues with a re-entry, double corner letter, guide lines, inverted "S," "P" converted to "R" etc., various cancellations incl. Maltese Crosses, good range of numbers in cross (all except 3 & 10) with "4" in cross in a pair, stamp with part circular town cancel, one with numeral in blue, few used on entires, continues with 1841 2d blue, incl. four entires, shades, shifted transfer, guide lines, watermark inverted example, cancels incl. Maltese Cross, number in Cross (probably no.12), good range of most basic stamps of 1854-7 perforated issues, 1856-8 wmk Large Crown perf.16 1d & 2d, also see 1864-79 2d plate numbers complete, most ½d plates & 1½d plates.
