1840 1d. grey-black, Plate 2, MARGINAL BLOCK OF FOUR (IA/JB) from the left of the sheet, part of marginal inscription '(towar)ds the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the Letter', unused no gum, clear to large margins except JB touched at the lower right corner, tiny split in the top margin well outside the frame line, the upper pair has a light diagonal crease, still fresh and attractive. A RARE MARGINAL UNUSED MULTIPLE WITH A FINE PROVENANCE (Ex-Lord Steinberg collection).

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
