Guatemala

1934, COMMERCIAL CATAPULT MAIL: Airmail cover from Guatemala (8.9.) carried by steamer "Bremen" to Southampton, thence by CATAPULT FLIGHT (16.9.) and by express train to a German publishing company in Hamburg (16.9.). Usually catapult flight covers were "produced" for collectors. This is probably the only know commercial cover. Sender was the "Mision Adventista del Septimo Dia de Guatemala".

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
