1889 Postal stationery envelope 1ch. ultramarine (Deschl E4, Type III, embossing K3, embossing under back-flap, gap between outer native words at top right) used within Travancore, cancelled by native pmk in circle of bars, and with two circled native postmarks on the reverse. Envelope opened roughly at left and slightly stained, but a SCARCE postal stationery envelope.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
