1952, Korean War, IRC delegate Fred Bieri (1889-1871): 1948/52, group of mostly airmail issues/definitives of Japan total 423 Yen with the scarce 14.oo Himeji castle tied "IMPERIAL HOTEL P.O. 1.3.52" to both sides of registered air mail cover to Switzerland. Sender Fred Bieri, to his wife. Bieri was IRC delegate for Korea July 1st 1950 to June 30, 1952. Tasks were inspection of POW camps ec. Cover opened out for display.
