CIVIL WAR 1862-63 An interesting group displayed and written up on album pages, with a page entitled "Union Forces Return to Bull Run" including an 1862 (April 5th) soldiers letter written near Rappahannock River, the New York 9th Regimental patriotic envelope it was sent it bearing 3c, plus an 1862 (March 19th) back printed patriotic envelope printed with "1st Connecticut Vol Artillery, Col Abbot" (this also with 3c on front), a page entitled "Battle of Shiloh Day One" including an unused patriotic envelope, and a 1925 ppc of Grants Last Line, plus another page entitled "Battle of Shiloh - Day Two" including an 1863 (Jan 6th) Union patriotic "battle" envelope showing the Battle of Shiloh, used with 3c from Springfield, Missouri.
