Stamp information:
To welcome the Lunar New Year 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications issues the stamp set "Year of the Dragon", including 02 stamps and 01 block, with the face values of 4,000 VND; 15,000 VND and 15,000 VND, depicting image of the Dragon, which occupies a special position in the culture and beliefs of Vietnamese people. The Dragon is a sacred symbol related to Vietnamese legend of the Dragon and Fairy's descendants and is the first of the four sacred animals: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix. It is also considered the animal that brings good rain and wind, fertility and prosperity to the land. The stamp set was designed by artist Nguyen Quang Vinh and it is issued on December 24, 2023 Stamp size: 37 x 37 (mm). Block size: 80 x 80 (mm). There are some products launched in this event:
- FDC for stamps (size of 190 x 110 mm) with quantity of 1,650 pcs and FDC for souvenir sheet (larger size) with quantity of 1,400 pcs with 04 different first day cancellations of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa and Hue
- Maxi card: set of 2, quantity of 1,000 sets - Booklet: inside is with 04 full sets (MNH stamps) - Quantity of 150 ones - Presentation pack - Coin of Dragon special pack |
