Found this interesting piece in a collection recently. Does anyone have any information on this note? Fantasy? Emergency? What was going on in Ile Crescent in 1963 to cause this hand-written money to be issued?

If you do a Google search for Ile Crescent the first 2 results are for fantasy coins & banknotes.

I don't know anything about money, but I suspect that your item is a "fantasy" item.
