how can anyone stamps for 1 cent?

    since the commission is 25 cents, plus 7.5% it costs at least 28 cents or so to sell anything, so how is it that so many stamps, and even some other items are listed at 1 cent, - 25 cents .

    it seems even a 50 cent item is not practical as you would only net 20 cents.

    or have I calculated it wrong. ?

    Why not try buying some of these items and see if the seller will actually supply them - but be careful they may charge handling fees and excessive postage to boost the value of what they offer.
