Rara medaglia d'epoca fascista "non portativa" e completa di scatola, assegnata dal Regime nella persona giuridica dell’Ente della Provincia di Roma, per premiare i suoi dirigenti che fecero in modo di renderla molto efficiente e produttiva, durante il Ventennio. La realizzazione della decorazione fu affidata negli anni ’30, nel conio alla Regia Zecca (è presente infatti sul dritto il punzone della “Z” coronata), mentre nel disegno, al famoso scultore romano VINCENZO FIORDIGIGLIO (anche dell’artista, è presente la firma per esteso), che nel bellissimo disegno, l’ha praticamente resa una “mini” opera d’arte d’autore. Sul dritto, al centro, è raffigurato uno scudo coronato con l’aquila simbolo della Provincia e sopra un fascio stilizzato. Intorno vi è posto un ramo di quercia e la scritta: “PROVINCIA DI ROMA” in caratteri fascisti d’epoca. Sul rovescio, invece, è raffigurato un fascio a doppia scure, che simboleggia la l’immensità del Fascismo. Ad impreziosire la già "notevole" decorazione, è il fatto che la stessa è accompagnata dalla sua scatola originale d'epoca, perfettamente intatta e funzionante. L'oggetto si presenta in condizioni "ECCELLENTI" di conservazione, ancora in patina coeva, senza né difetti, né mancanze, né rotture alcuna. Le misure sono: medaglia diametro = 40 mm (grosso calibro) e peso 26 grammi; scatola = 70 mm x 70 mm x 15 mm (spessore).
