Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?
Ancient civilization and historical exploration
rocks!
Is there something vile on the Nile? Kids 9 and older can
find out by meeting over 50 historical figures including
Christopher Columbus, Leonardo da Vinci, William Shakespeare and
Thomas Jefferson in Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?
This software lets kids jump into time portals and pounce
into the past to help catch Carmen and her circle of creeps. As
usual, Carmen and her band of bad guys have messed up
history.
There´s never been a better way for kids to learn history
than by playing this entertaining and highly educational 2 CD-ROM
set. This two-thumbs up software fits well in the classroom,
home-school or for fun at home.
Kids can beef up on U.S. and world history, while tuning up
their map reading, listening comprehension, and deductive reasoning
skills by playing this software. They´ll also practice using
chronological thinking while solving problems which require
critical thinking and decision-making by doing some challenging
research and historical analyses.
An incredible amount of innovative detail and hard work went
into producing this software and it really shows!
In fact, this chronological time caper will wow the socks off
of mom and dad when they witness the enthusiasm their kids display
when playing this interactive wonder.
What´s this one all about? Simply, Carmen Sandiego, the
mastermind of mischief, has stolen the world´s only time travel
device, the ACME Chronoskimmer. This handy device let Carmen and
her thugs go back in time to steal priceless historical treasures
which could change history!
Unacceptable!
Super-sleuth kids pay attention to details as they talk to
historical characters and discover which items have been stolen;
search for clues; collect Carmen´s notes telling thieves where to
hide; and bust and cuff the thugs by using the ACME Time Cuffs.
Solve all of the cases and see if you can put Carmen away!
ACME Good Guides accompany children through each of the 18
cases, while a handy historical guide, the ACME Chronopedia, fills
children in on important people, places, maps and events in each
historical time period as well as provide them with fun
facts.
As kids progress through the games, they´ll earn promotions
ranging from Time Pilot to Time Sleuth.
Cases span about 3,000 years and range from the Egyptian
tombs to the launch of the first person in space.

·Queen Hatshepsut in Egypt (1490 B.C.E.);
