Groot werk van August VANDECASTEELE (Heule, 1889-Kortrijk, 1969). Olie op doek. Met kader: 86 x 79 cm.

Zijn werk bevindt zich in ontelbare privé verzamelingen en zelfs in enkele musea (Kortrijk, Harelbeke, Zottegem). Reeds in 1929 werd ook door het Ministerie van Kunsten en Wetenschappen een van zijn werken aangekocht.
