Dessin original. Bon état general.
Petites pliures du temps. Dimensions : 18 x 25 cm environ.

[ Si en effet de nombreux créateurs comme Chanel et d'autres grands noms de la couture parisienne ne dessinaient pas, ces mêmes grands noms faisaient appel à ces dessinateurs-créateurs qui vendaient à chacun d'eux en exclusivité leurs dessins et leurs idées. Souvent méconnus du grand public, ils travaillaient dans l'ombre des grands couturiers, créant pour eux, bien souvent, les plus connus de leurs modèles. Ces mêmes grands noms faisaient appel à ces dessinateurs-créateurs qui vendaient à chacun d'eux en exclusivité leurs dessins et leurs idées ].

Léo Tissandier, créateur de Haute Couture établi au 48 rue d'Orsel dans le 18ème (à l'endroit même où Georges Braque avait son atelier) créa et dessina pendant plus de 25 ans (des années 1920 à 1950 environ), des modèles en exclusivité à des maisons de couture aussi célèbres que Chanel, Madeleine Vionnet, Jean Patou, Molyneux, Jeanne Lanvin, Lucien Lelong, Doucet, Maggy Rouff, Marcel Rochas, Lucille Paray, Martial et Armand, Auguste, Bernard Millers Soeurs, Drevoll, Worth, Premet... [...]

A l’ombre de son atelier montmartrois rue d’Orcel à Paris, Léo Tissandié imagine des robes Art Déco, des tailleurs raffinés, des combinaisons avant-gardistes qu’il couche sur le papier en quelques vifs coups de crayon, avant de les confier aux maisons de haute couture parisiennes les plus prestigieuses. Il est de ces créateurs qui dès les Années folles façonnèrent l’élégance à la française. « Il a su s’adapter au style de chaque maison et aux goûts de son temps ».
