Superbe sculpture en régule avec belle patine bronze signée Louis Moreau Beaux Arts brandissant d'une main une double couronne de lauriers et de l'autre 1 branchage fleuri. Hauteur: 53 cm Largeur: 29.5 cm - dim socle: 14x14cm Poids: env 3 kg Louis Auguste Moreau : Il appartient à la très célèbre famille Moreau dynastie de sculpteurs réputés. Il est le fils d' Auguste Moreau ( 1834-1917) Il est formé à la sculpture par son père Auguste Moreau mais également par son oncle Mathurin Moreau. Il étudie aux Beaux Arts de Paris il sera l'élève d'Aimé Millet d'Auguste Dumont et de Gabriel-Jules Thomas. Il expose au salon des Artistes Français à partir de 1875 ou ses oeuvres sont régulièrement primées. Il obtient de nombreuses médailles. Ses sculptures d'arts et de décoration de style académique ou d' Art Nouveau sont souvent réalisées avec son frêre François Moreau et portent la signature L&F Moreau.
