Bijzonderheden:
De Sevensmolen stamt uit 1745. Hij werd in dat jaar opgericht te Helchteren. In 1853 werd hij overgebracht naar de Kloosterstraat in Overpelt. Het betreft een standaardkorenmolen met half-gesloten voet. In 1964 is de molen overgeplaatst naar de huidige locatie in Overpelt: het wandelpark 'Heesakkerheide'. De molen was aan het einde van de jaren 1950 stilgezet en ernstig in verval geraakt. Hij stond zelfs enige tijd met slechts één roede. Sinds 1994 is de molen een beschermd monument. Op deze prentkaart is hij dus fraai gerestaureerd, maar de problemen met de windvang kondigen zich al aan (te veel begroeiing rond de molen)
