Printed glazed monochrome postcard showing a view of the lake at Hesketh Park in Southport, Lancashire.

Publisher not stated, K Series, No S 63030, the same view was originally published by E.T.W. Dennis, then also used by O. Whitehead of Southport in the Colunio Series, No P 63030 (with a ETW Dennis style back), then by W.H. Smith in the Aldwych Series, No S 8378. I would suggest that this card was also published by W.H. Smith, with the K standing for Kingsway. The S numbering of the card would also fit with this.

Postally used on 19 September 1917 with Southport cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss H.A. Thornhill, Clarence Hotel, Huddersfield Road, Dewsbury.

Fairly good condition, with slight corner bumps, but scuffing to both bottom corners.

All of the postcards are genuine vintage cards, unless the description clearly states otherwise.
