The stamps employ repeating series of tiny letters and numbers to form their images. They put a new spin on the “1st Customs Dragon Issue (the Large Dragon Stamp)” and the “Shanghai Print Flying Geese Basic Stamps.”
Between the two stamps is a se-tenant gutterfeaturing a design of auspicious cloud patterns forming the image of “30”, echoing the theme of “the 30th Asian International Stamp Exhibition”.
The designs follow:
1. NT$5 stamp: A series of irregularly sized tiny numerals forming “2015” over and over are used to create a picture of a cloud dragon playing with a pearl.
2. NT$25 stamp: A series of irregularly sized tiny letters that spell out the English words “30TH ASIAN INTERNATIONAL STAMP EXHIBITION” over and over are used to create an image of two geese flying over the world.
