1844-1961 INTERESTING "OLD TIME" COLLECTION. A fascinating & extensive, mint & used collection with Philatelic Exhibition & picture postcards presented somewhat haphazardly in a dilapidated old "Ariro" dedicated printed album. We see a mostly used "Classic" range with perf & imperf seen to top values, many pages are over subscribed and are filled busily with shade variants, postmark interest etc, from 1940's onwards we often see both mint & used examples of the same issue. Includes (all used) 1844-46 10r & 60r, 1850 to 180r (x3), 300r & 600r (fault), 1854 to 30r unused, 1866 60r, 1866-68 set, 1876-77 set, 1878-79 set (ex 700r), 1878 300r, 1881 100r (x2), 1899 surcharges basic set mint, 1900 Discovery sets (x2, one mint), 1906 Congress set, 1906-16 Portraits set, 1924-28 Defins NHM set to 500r, 1931 Revolution set (ex 20r & 50r), 1931 2500r on 3000r Air (x2, one mint), 1932 Revolution set (low values mint), 1934 Visit set, 1937-38 Tourism set, 1943 Stamp Anniv m/s's (x2) unused, 1944 Air surchs set NHM, 1949 Roosevelt m/s's (x2, one on FDC), 1956 Flight m/s mint, stamps on special cards, Newspapers 1890 & 1890-93 sets, Officials, Postage Dues 1890 set mint etc. Some mixed condition, most fine.
