2013 Valentine´s Day Stamps ,Souvenir Sheet(s/s) & Mini Sheet. Formosa(Taiwan), Rep of China.

The primary concept behind the design of this set is a heart-shaped pattern that consists of three roses in full bloom. Every rose constitutes six numbers: 201314, a play on the homonymic relation with the declaration, “my love for you is eternal.” in Chinese. The six-number code is hidden in the roses-constructed heart, signifying faith and strength in love. The pastel hues convey the romantic mood of the occasion.

The design follows:

1. NT$12 stamp: The colorful roses are arranged in a heart shape and set against a white backdrop to symbolize the sweetness of love.

2. NT$25 stamp: The deep-pink backdrop sets off the white roses in reverse type, signifying the sanctity of love.

3. Heart-shaped Souvenir sheet (s/s): Two interlocking hearts hug this set of stamps, representing the strong love between lovers, and their commitment to an everlasting union.

4.Three sets of stamps in the heart-shape Mini Sheet. Scarce.
