Bencho Yordanov Obreshkov
(April 27, 1899, Karnobat - April 8, 1970, Sofia) was a renowned Bulgarian painter. He graduated under P. Klissurov and I. Angelov from the Sofia Academy of Fine Arts in 1920, and specialized in painting under Oskar Kokoshka in Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden in 1926 and sculpture under Antoine Bourdelle, Paris in 1925 - 1927. He was a member of the "Native Arts" Union (1925), a member of the Union of the New Artists (1931), and its chairman (1937).

PROF. NENKO BALKANSKI 1907 - 1977
Born in Kazanluk on 20th of August 1907.In 1930 graduates from the Art Academy in Sofia. 1939-1941 – specializes in France and Italy with Iliya Beshkov and Ivan Founev. 1936-37 – Secretary of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. Since 1946 Nenko Balkanski is teaching at the National Academy of Art where becomes assistant professor in 1950 and latter professor. His painting “Still Life with Wndow” wins gold medal in Paris. The aouthor wins many prizes as “Vladimir Dimitrov-The Master”.He takes part inshows of the Bulgarian Art in the Soviet Union, Germany, France and the Venice Biennale.
