Dabei erwähnenswert die Altdeutsche Staaten mit insbesondere Baden, Bayern, Hannover, Preussen, Sachsen und Thurn & Taxis sowie das Deutsche Reich ab der Ausgabe "Brustschild" mit u.a. "5 MARK REICHSPOST" (Mi.Nr. 66). Belgien ab Mi.Nr. 1-2, Dänemark ab vier Stück der Mi.Nr. 1, Griechenland ab der Ausgabe "Großer Hermeskopf" mit alleine neun Befunden, Österreich ab Mi.Nr. 1-5, Schweiz ab Mi.Nr. 7 bis Mi.Nr. 9 teils doppelt und die Ausgabe "Strubel" (Mi.Nr. 13-19) überkomplett sowie Ungarn. Dabei auch eine Vielzahl ausgesuchter Stücke mit teils glasklaren Stempeln, Briefstücke, Farben, Randstücke und etliches auch kompetent geprüft. Hervorzuheben sind auch die über 70 Briefe, Karten und Ganzsachen mit teils hochwertigen Frankaturen, u.a. das Deutsche Reich Ausgabe "Brustschild" und die Mi.Nr. 14 bis Mi.Nr. 17 jeweils als Einzelfrankatur auf vier Belegen, Österreich mit jeweils breitrandiger Mi.Nr. 1 und Mi.Nr. 2 als Einzelfrankatur auf zwei Briefen usw. Christoph Gärtner made his hobby into his profession. He started in 1984 and within two decades the Gärtner GmbH developed into a world leading mail order house for postal stationery and became a specialist for thematics and postal history.
In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
