1896 CAPE USED IN BASUTOLAND: The personalised envelope of Mrs Meyer, Maghaleen (a small mission station in the Orange Free State, about 25km from Mohaleshoek), addressed to Germany franked Cape stamps totalling 2½d clearly tied by Numeral 210 canceller with alongside the MOHALESHOEK PROVING despatch cds AU 9. Backstamped Mafeteng, Aliwal North, Cape Town etc. Lightly pressed central fold, otherwise F. Scarce, interesting with a potential OFS origin.
