1841 THE "ARCHER" PLATES. A collection of used stamps informatively displayed on 11 exhibition pages of the 1841 1d red- brown imperfs (SG 8) from plates 92 to 101, these are the so-called "Archers" because they were utilised by Henry Archer for his later perforating experiments. We see 9 examples from each plate with plating illustrations for each.
