1970 1st Anniversary of Man’s Moon Landing Stamps. Formosa(Taiwan), Rep of China.
Sc#1674-76.

The 1.00 stamp features President Chiang Kai-shek’s message brought to the moon by Appolo 11. The 5.00 stamp has portraits of the three Appolo 11 astronauts-Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin, while the 8.00 stamp inscribes the first step on the moon by Neil Armstrong, signifying a giant leap for mankind.
