For a short time in 1993, Walsall Security Printers experimented with a new type of plate proof. The first couple of sheets printed were taken for checking as the plate proof sheets. After checking, the value on the plate proof sheets were overprinted with the word CANCELLED to distinguish the plate proofs from the issued stamps and also so the proofs could not be used for postage by mistake. The proof sheets with the " cancelled" stamps were then placed in the printers archives. This proofing method was used on about 5 sets for Tonga and Niuafoou in 1993 and was then discontinued. Nice exhibit item from the Walsall printers archival material.

All payments are to be made via PayPal or Mangopay, depending on the possibilities offered by the seller. No payments are to be made by neither cheque, bank transfer nor cash directly to the seller.

REST OF WORLD - 3 euros for each 50 grammes

Items will be combined for one shipping fee.

REGISTRATION

Australia Post SMALL international registration envelope - 10.00 euros - used for smaller items and smaller covers.

Australia Post LARGE international registration envelope - 16.00 euros - used for larger items and larger covers. NOTE there is no tracking with registered letters. Tracking costs a little bit more.

On certain occasions if large total is purchased, tracking may be required and I will advise the cost - currently it is 21.00 euros

NOTE - IMPORTANT - WHEN REGISTRATION IS COMPULSORY

Registration fee MUST be paid when:-

1. Total cost of items purchased is over 60 euros.
2. Any country I deem necessary because of risk.
