Cartolina NON affrancata ( sicuramente per mancanza di francobolli italiani ) scritta il giorno 2 Novembre 1918, annullata in partenza con il consueto timbro "austriaco" nel giorno 3-XI-18 in cui le truppe Austro-Ungariche abbandonano la città per l'arrivo programmato il giorno dopo, 4 Novembre, della truppe italiane con seco i francobolli italiani : sono infatti dei giorni 8/9 Novembre i primi valori ad hoc ( francobolli di Austria soprastampati naturalmente "3.XI.1918" )
la cartolina è indirizzata a Venezia ".. Sotoportico del tagliapietre.." (!!!) ed è stata reindirizzata a Firenze al nuovo domicilio del destinatario e presenta un evidente segno di tassazione "T" in blu poi cancellato a mano ma, in seguito, viene comunque apposto un Segnatasse da c.10 annullato, probabilmente a Firenze, il giorno 17novembre
Notevole il contesto storico ed parte del contenuto che recita ".. a tutti voi il primo caldo saluto da Trieste REDENTA... " a penna ed in matita ".. Viva l'Italia !.."
