You´re buying the Philatelic Bureau New Year greeting card with a set of 3 stamps with tabs celebrating the Jewish New Year 5775 Festivals, featuring Simcht Torah (Rejoicing of the Torah) flags and cancelled with the First Day of Issue special postmark...

As far back as the 17th century the children in Ashkenazi communities would come to the synagogue on Simchat Torah night waving flags. The Simchat Torah flags were part of a popular material culture of paper products and along with the homemade flags, paper flags were printed with images of traditional Jews and included pictures expressing the Sukkot and Simchat Torah holiday experience...

The stamps depict flags which were popular in Israel at different periods:

NIS 5.60 - Israel 1960´s
