For sale is an imperf PLATE PROOF from the Walsall Security Printers archives of one of the values from Niuafoou 1989 Evolution set. Planet Earth design.

All the stamps from this set were issued perforated. There were NO stamps issued imperf. The only imperf stamps like the one for sale are plate proofs. Walsall Security Printers printed one sheet first, and this sheet was taken for checking and approval by the officials. After it passed the necessary checks, this imperf proof sheet was placed in the printers archives and was left imperf. All other sheets issued were perforated. There are usually only 20 plate proofs for each stamp in existence, a very small number indeed when compared to the many "proofs" of many other countries especially "printed" for collectors. The Tongan plate proofs are genuine proofs done by the printers for checking purposes then kept until recently in the printers archives.

All payments are to be made via PayPal or Mangopay, depending on the possibilities offered by the seller. No payments are to be made by neither cheque, bank transfer nor cash directly to the seller.

AUSTRALIA - 1.50 euros for each 50 grammes

REST OF WORLD - 3 euros for each 50 grammes

REGISTRATION

Australia Post SMALL international registration envelope - 10.00 euros - used for smaller items and smaller covers.

Australia Post LARGE international registration envelope - 16.00 euros - used for larger items and larger covers. NOTE there is no tracking with registered letters. Tracking costs a little bit more.

On certain occasions if large total is purchased, tracking may be required and I will advise the cost - currently it is 21.00 euros

NOTE - IMPORTANT - WHEN REGISTRATION IS COMPULSORY

Registration fee MUST be paid when:-

1. Total cost of items purchased is over 60 euros.
2. Any country I deem necessary because of risk.
