2004 Jhuluo´s Tricentennial Stamps. Formosa(Taiwan), Rep of China.

The old city of Jhuluo (Chiayi) has experienced three centuries of Taiwan’s history, and its historical sites have endured many earthquakes and heavy rains that have caused the city´s walls to collapse one after another.

The year 2004 marks the 300th anniversary of the founding of the city. To rekindle the memories of Taiwanese residents about the history of this ancient city, Chunghwa Post is issuing a set of two stamps entitled “Jhuluo´s Tricentennial Commemorative Issue.”

The two stamps feature “Chiayi Prefecture Hall” and “Chiayi East Gate". But the Chiayi East Gate stamp is error.
The text announces an image of the Chiayi East Gate, but erroneously the image on the stamp is from another building: Changhwa East Gate.

The photo is only an example.
