Just the sort of great stamps you see pasted into those early Lallier and other first- generation albums but these mounted with old hinges onto 4 pages. Briefly we see 1840's-1860's mint & used stamps including Great Britain 1847-54 10d embossed mint (cat £11500), 1862-64 4d mint (cat £2,000) & 9d mint (cat £4000), Canada 1859 1c, 5c, 10c (cat £1400) & 12½c (cat £1200) all mint, Malta 1860 ½d mint (cat £1300), Sweden 1858-72 to 24o mint, Stockholm locals 1856-62 3o black & 3o bistre mint, Antigua 1862 6d used, Bahamas 1862 to 6d used, Hong Kong 1862-63 to 96c used, Trinidad 1862-63 1s mauve used, St Lucia 1860 6d used, Mauritius 1862 1s used, Tasmania 1853 4d used, Western Australia 1854-55 4d & 1857-59 2d used, USA 1861-62 30c & 90c used, Hawaii 1861-63 2c used, Netherlands 1852 set used, Norway 1855 4s used, Sardinia 1851 20c used, Luxembourg 1852-58 1sgr used, 1859 10c mint, 25c & 37½c used and 30c unused. This is really quite the thing! We doubt many collections still exist like this and the stamps should be found their natural home in an old album.
