Postcard of Venezuala with additional 1/2d green of Great Britain , both tied by indistinct cds and clear straight line date canceller of 7.8.1930. Endorsed as " per SS Darian " . The Darian was a refrigerated cargo ship operated by the Balboa Shipping Company. The Captain, TA Smye was a well known producer of covers and cards, typically preparing and mailing at the next point of call. A very clean item, only spoiled by the illegible cds
