1946 - 1991 IMPRESSIVE MINT / UNUSED COLLECTION. A collection of chiefly (90%+) mint or 'unused as issued' stamps in a large album containing complete sets (apart from some of the earliest ranges) and often both the perforated and imperf. sets of the same issue. Interestingly the collection begins with a comprehensive collection of the 1945-1946 Democratic Republic surcharges and overprints with around 60 different stamps; North Vietnam Democratic Republic 1951 - 1954 period includes several sets, and the General Issues beginning from the 1954-55 50d & 100d Portraits set, with many notable items such as the 1955-56 Land Reform & Officials sets, 1956 Railway Re-opening set, 1956 Government to Hanoi set, 1956-57 OFFICIAL Cu Chinh Lan set, the rare 1956 Death of Mac Thi Buoi set, and onwards with a comprehensive collection of everything including miniature sheets from the 1960 5x Birth of Lenin incl 1961 Writers, 1963 Birds etc, and of course all the imperf sets.
