1841-1951 COLLECTION BIG ALBUM contains a somewhat scrappy collection, but full of interesting items throughout, (all used unless stated) begins with 1d red imperfs, note unused example and one on piece with "7" in Maltese Cross postmark, 1d red "Stars" in a block of 4, 1d red Plate Numbers - appears to be complete to Pl.224 (no Pl. 77), 1854 Embossed issues all values cut square, 10d rebacked, good range of QV Surface Printed issues - note wmk Emblems 9d, & wmk Spray 9d, 2s blue, 6d grey Pl.12, plus 1s Pl.6 with "107 Fleet St" c.d.s. pmk, 6d chestnut used in Constantinople with clear "C" pmk, 1873-80 values to 8d incl. 4d sage-green Pl.16, 1880-3 wmk Crown all values with additional plates, 1883-4 lilac & green set, range of QV & KEVII officials, good KGV with few mint controls on low values, 1929 PUC watermark sideways set, 1934 re-engraved Sea Horses set, KGVI largely complete with some values in mint blocks of 4 and lovely 1948 RSW £1 in NHM corner marginal example plus a range of Postage Dues.
